It’s that time of the year again — time to get ready for the flu season. If you’re unemployed, you can get free flu shots at CVS Pharmacy this year.

These are special dates, and they will vary based on your individual store location.

Here’s a snippet of information from their latest press release:

As part of a broad-reaching effort to keep Americans healthy this flu season, CVS Caremark today announced its commitment to providing 100,000 free seasonal flu shots to the unemployed. The program will include on-site flu clinics at One-Stop Career Center locations and distribution of vouchers for free flu shots at CVS/pharmacy or MinuteClinic. One-Stop Career Centers offer tools and training to job seekers.

In order to find the store closet to you that’s participating and to get the date for the shots, head on over to this search page. At the bottom, make sure you check the box next to Special Services: Flu Shots to find a store that’s participating.

We’ve talked about this one before, but it’s back again. You can get up to 50 free prints and online storage from CVS Photo. If you haven’t created an account yet, you’ll get 20 free prints for creating one and another 30 free prints when you add your Extra Care card to the account. Extra Care cards are free as well, so I highly recommend you pick one up.

If you can’t pick up your prints in person, I’ve read where the shipping is free on your photos as well. Not a bad deal! Get more information here.

Right now, CVS has the Honey Nut Cheerios cups on sale for $0.99 each. Print out the below coupons (see coupon links, please) that are for $1.00 off this item.

This makes each cup -$0.01. Better than free! Remember to print each of the above coupons twice by clicking the link again after you print your first one. Alternatively, you can the back button on your browser.

You’ll actually get two coupons per page. One is for $1.00 off when you buy Honey Nut Cheerios cereal and another $1.00 off when you buy two boxes of the cereal. Be sure to use the $1.00 off Honey Nut Cheerios coupon (the one at the top for me).

Actually, you’ll have to pay sales tax on your pre-coupon total, so if you bought one cup for $1.00 at a 7% tax rate, you’d still owe around $0.07. Still not a bad deal!

Great CVS Deal On Pampers

From 6/7/09 until 6/13/09, all varieties of Pampers jumbo packs are on sale for $8.99 with your Extra Care Card. To make it even better, you’ll earn $5 Extra Bucks for purchasing! This makes a Jumbo Pack of Pampers diapers only $3.99 without coupons. See the link above for the official CVS advertisement.

There’s also a $1.00 off one Pampers coupon in the 6/7/09 Procter and Gamble Sunday Paper insert to make this an even sweeter deal — $2.99 for a jumbo pack.

Remember to get in there and get your diapers early as these will probably move off of the shelves pertty fast. I took advantage of this deal today and there were still a lot of all sizes left on the shelves. If they are gone, you can always request a raincheck and lock these prices in.

Update: I recommend taking in a printout of the advertised offer and showing it to the cashier or manager. Some people are reporting that Extra Bucks are not automatically printing out for this offer, but if you show them the ad they will manually print your Extra Bucks for this deal.
