Here’s a really great freebie that promotes the little ones to get out there and read over summer. Kids can earn a free book if they read eight books this upcoming summer as well as a chance to win an autographed Percy Jackson novel. Here’s how it works:
- Read any 8 books of your choosing and record them on the included summer reading journal (see above link).
- Bring the completed reading journal to any Barnes and Noble store between the dates of May 26, 2009 and September 7, 2009.
- Choose a free book from the included list (see link above) and you’ll also be entered to win the autographed Percy Jackson novel.
This is a really cool way of rewarding kids to promote summer reading. Way to go, Barnes and Noble!
