Here’s how you get one: Bring in three plastic bottles to any Disney Store location (find your nearest location here) and they’ll exchange them for a free tote bag.

Here are some tips for becoming more earth-friendly:

• Unplug all unused appliances that use electricity in “stand-by” mode. This includes anything with a burning indicator light or LED display.

• Start a recycling bin for paper, plastic and aluminum. Many companies that also pick up your trash participate in recycling programs.

• Switch to online billing to reduce the amount of paper you receive from companies. You’ll also save money on not buying stamps!
• Refill your printer ink cartridges. This is another huge money-saver.
• Plant a shade tree in your front or back yard.
• Use ceiling fans and turn up your thermostat during warm weather.
• Consider car-pooling at least one day per week.

• Change your thermostats to programmable ones and remember to turn off all lights in unused rooms.
• Don’t leave your computer running at night while you sleep. It will last much longer and you’ll save on your electric bill.
• Drive the speed limit and keep your tires properly inflated. You’ll increase your gas mileage.
