  5. This would have been outstanding. Unfortunately, this offer is only good for people in the US and Canada. Pretty limited for an eBook offer, quite frankly. Ah, well.

  12. Well, went to Barnes & Noble website, the ebooks are for an app called Nook, which is probably sponsored by B&N. In order to create a “free account” you must supply a credit card for future orders. I don’t trust websites that do this. Also, while the Nook can be used on iphone, ipad, PC, blackberry, Nook reader and Android, it is not available for Pocket PC or other PDAs. B&N also owns fictionwise.com, another ebook website, that had offered a membership that you paid so you could get good discounts on the books, and the ability to to have a balance so that you don’t have to always use your credit card. B&N did away with all this.
