    I called and the lady was kinda hard to understand but it said the razor should ship in 4-8 weeks so I guess we will see.

    i texted that to the number and it came back a text in spanish i am guessing…..if it is only avalible in the us why is it in spanish?? Just wondering

    This was posted on a page linking to here. It is a translation of the spanish text messages for those of us who don’t speak spanish.

    “Spanish text messages say (basically):

    “Thank you for your interest in receiving a new Gilette razor for shaving. Please respond with your age (ex. 25)”

    {reply}

    “Please respond with the two letters of your state (ex. NJ)”

    {reply}

    “Excellent. Please respond with your home phone number and we’ll get your address. (*I think*) Don’t have a home phone? Respond with your 5-digit zip code”

    {I sent my zip}

    “Please respond with your street address. For example, “123 Main St. Apt 2A”. Do not include city, state, or zip code.”

    not only can you barely understand the woman, but you have to press 2 for English!!! Since when is English #2? They say the deal continues until June 30 or supplies run out.

    Why is the world would Gillette use a recorded voice with an accent so thick to make it almost unintelligible?? I chose not to participate, too much information to a possible phishing source.

    My guess was this was a promotion that was aimed heavily and increasing market share in Latino communities.

    Purchase ad space in Spanish language dailies and weeklies. Of course that only works until someone publishes the information on a website.

    maybe try texting “Test” instead of Prueba, as it is the english translation. I already did it with the spanish or i would have tried

    so i just did it by texting ‘prueba’ and used the translation provided here. thanks

    Phone # still working as of today. When you hear the Spanish introduction, press 2 for English right away. Still hard to understand, but worked fine.
