nice… i really need one dont have any trimmer at all
Comment by Lynette on 29 June 2009:
This trimmer seems to be the way to go. No gas or oil to mix and store. I do have an electric trimmer but there are issues from time to time to get the extention cord to reach edges of my yard. I try to help my neighbors (they are elderly) by keeping their ditches cleaned and trimmed but it is hard with the cords attached. If I win this trimmer it would make helping my neighbors a little easier although without it I will continue to do my part for my neighborhood.

I’ve had a Craftsman Trimmer and a Toro Trimmer and would not recommend either one to anyone. I would really love to try a new product out and give it a chance. I make every attempt to try and stay echo friendly and really care about the future for my granddaughters. I work alot outside in the yard and could really use this product and only hope that it works as well as it is being marketed.
Comment by Ernest Delmonico on 29 June 2009:
I am glad someone has come up with a product that I don’t need to use Ethnol gas to run it. I live in FL. and we can only buy gas with 10% Ethnol in it. So all my yard equipment runs like —-. I can’t wait for the blower to be on the market too. Pleas keep up the good work and we will be buying your products as they come to market.
Comment by sheilas on 29 June 2009:

This weed trimmer is a great thing. I would love to win this trimmer for my husband. He lost his job in December 08 and is still off. His trimmer is not working and we have a lot of trimming to do. I would love it if I was picked, then I could give this trimmer to my husband. It would really make his day. I really like the idea of having a green echo trimmer that is better on the enviroment.
Comment by Lenny on 29 June 2009:
I have a trimmer that after starting the first time, it just about takes an act of Congress to restart. The eco-trimmer would be such a breath of fresh air (no pun intended). I would love to be the first in my neighborhood’s association to proudly show it off. Thank you for the opportunity to win this in your free offer.
Thanks again,
Lenny

Comment by todd myers on 29 June 2009:
WOW if I had an eco-friendly trimmer like that I could get all the area teenagers beggin to weed-whack my yard!!
Comment by Judy Monette on 29 June 2009:
My husband does all the yard work & is in his seventies, so it’s getting to be a lot for hom. We have almost 1 acre to mow, trim, weed, etc. & he does not want me doing any of the work. He could sure use a lightweight trimmer, as he gets older. I’d love to win this & be able to surprise him with it. Echo is the brand he likes.
Comment by Mary Forte on 29 June 2009:
I think this is great for selfish reasons. As, due to economic reasons, I have had to take over all my own yard maintenance. It seams I am always having trouble starting my gas powered mowers, trimmers, etc. When I finally do get the “machines” in gear the fumes from the gas are less than pleasant & I’m sure not healthy. It’s something I wish I could afford to purchase right now. Since I am comming to enjoy doing the work myself, it is a tool I will buy when I can or at least put on my “wish list” for my kids to gift me.
Comment by Gail on 29 June 2009:
I welcome the concept! This is sooo needed and would be greatly appreciated!

Comment by Charlotte on 29 June 2009:
How ironic this is,I work in a repair shop so day in & day out we sell parts to frustrated customers that can’t start the unit. Myself included need to have my unit started to use when I perform the yard task, how neat this is eco friendly & if it is as easy to start as the video implies I would buy one.Contact me about possible interest in selling will give you business email.thanks from a free stuff junkie

We are tired of trying to borrow a weed trimmer and lawnmower to get our yard looking nice, we be honored to own this trimmer and it’s in my favorite color to green.

Comment by Dennis Hayes on 29 June 2009:
I have a #220 Stihl trimmer it is a great machine, but this is a better idea, keeping the world a greener environment by burning propane, lets get going towards reducing our oil dependency and reducing greenhouse gasses. I design solar pyramid homes working towards that goal, and everything we can do towards that goal makes it a better world.
Comment by Donna Boulier on 29 June 2009:
This looks like a trimmer I can handle on my own. This way I can help hubby around
with the yard work. He already does so much around here, it would be nice to give
him a break once in awhile. Nice looking trimmer!!

Comment by Marie on 29 June 2009:
Thank you, for comming out with a trimmer that is “Green Friendly”. Having a gas trimmer I have also spilled gas, it is messy and also when the machine is too hot I’m so scared of filling it up, I have to wait awhile to cool down. Looks great…Love that fact that it is easy to fill “Just screw on the propane can and go”. This is a great giveaway!!!

For it to run 2h on a small can of propane is also benefitial. At first i thought it would last maybe 1h. All considerd in the movie it looks like a good and handy machine to do my gardening.

Comment by Mark Sanney on 29 June 2009:
I think this is a forward thinking product. As an automotive technician for many years I know first hand the advantages of using propane as a means of combustion. It burns so much cleaner than gasoling and with that there are several other advantages. For example, in cars that used propane as their fuel source, the life of spark plugs and other related ignition parts were doubled or tripled. Oil changes were less frequent because the oil stays so much cleaner. Much of the dirt that contaminates and breaks down motor oil is the residue of gasoling that is leftover from the combustion cycle and hence contaminates the lubricating oil. Not so with propane as the fuel for combustion. The benefits would truly have much less of a negative impact upon our environment. Great job. I would love one!
Comment by Jessica on 29 June 2009:

Comment by Kari on 30 June 2009:
I’ve read a lot of comments about how people would love to win this trimmer but few about the trimmer itself or the description. The idea of a green trimmer is great bt how easy is it to use. Is the trimmer any heavier or lighter than a regular gas powered trimmer. Is there any difference in ease of use. There could definanatly be more description. It is definantly something I would like to try but couldn’t give a true and honest opinion without more information. For instance is it safer or more dangerous for the user as far as not putting the propane tank on right versus using gasoline. Thank you for your time and this opportunity.
Comment by Teresa Nicholson on 30 June 2009:
This would be awesome for myself and my 16 years old twin boys to use. I have two grandchildren and my yard is always needing to be trimmed where the lawnmower cannot reach the grass or trimming around the corners. My boys have been working all summer cutting our yard and the yards of several neighbors that have hired them. A trimmer is one thing that they have needed to be able to make the yards look perfectly groomed and they have been asking for one all summer. We are a family that is always trying to find ways to help the environment. We recycle everything possible and now this is a fantastic way to help the environment while making our yard look good.
Comment by JENNIFER LENTZ on 30 June 2009:

I just know it would make him happy to have it.

And I’m all about that since I usually can’t get lawnmowers or weed eaters to start! This Eco-Trimmer is low maintenence and so I won’t have to worry about all the upkeep of a traditional trimmer. I love the fact that the LEHR eco trimmer really is ecofriendly with its cleaner/greener use of propane (LPG in Australia) instead of gasoline (Petrol in Australia). Thanks,
Grace
