Free Childrens Book

Here’s a really great freebie that promotes the little ones to get out there and read over summer. Kids can earn a free book if they read eight books this upcoming summer as well as a chance to win an autographed Percy Jackson novel. Here’s how it works:

1. Read any 8 books of your choosing and record them on the included summer reading journal (see above link).
2. Bring the completed reading journal to any Barnes and Noble store between the dates of May 26, 2009 and September 7, 2009.
3. Choose a free book from the included list (see link above) and you’ll also be entered to win the autographed Percy Jackson novel.

This is a really cool way of rewarding kids to promote summer reading. Way to go, Barnes and Noble!
