I love going into the Home Depot and just browsing around. It’s my first favorite home improvement store around (second to Lowe’s). Most of the time, you simply cannot beat the prices available at the Home Depot. A free gift card just sweetens the pot.

Free $100 Lowe’s Gift Card

Lowe’s has some great prices, and you can find just about whatever you need to improve your home or yard at this super-store. Second in market share to Home Depot, Lowe’s really delivers when it comes to value.

The last item I purchased from Lowe’s was a washing machine for my home. Six years later it’s still holding up, and I haven’t even needed to use the extended warranty offered by Lowe’s.

What’s better than shopping at Target? Not spending money and getting $1,000 worth of goodies for free. Target is my second favorite store, just behind Wal-Mart. While the prices aren’t usually as low as Wal-Mart, there are some really nice things you can find at Target. I’ve bought furnishings for my home including coffee tables, framed art and table lamps. While I wouldn’t typically purchase clothes at Wal-Mart, the clothes at Target (particularly the t-shirts for men) are very nice and stylish. I’ve also bought jeans and button-down shirts from Target in the past as well.

If you’re buying for a baby, it’s really hard to beat Target. You can find some extremely affordable, stylish baby clothes that are as good or better than the Baby Gap and Baby Ralph Lauren stuff you find at the mall.

I’ll tell you what, Wal-Mart is probably the best retail chain ever born. Where else can you go at 3 in the morning and buy groceries, an oil filter for your car, a fishing pole, some toys for the rugrats, and beer? Nowhere. That’s right, Wal-Mart rocks.

Plus, you save money. I’ve compared my grocery bill while shopping at major grocery chains for a month to that of shopping at Wal-Mart for a month. Wal-Mart wins every time, and now I only shop at Wal-Mart!
