CHRISTMAS FOR THE KIDS IN OUR LIFE
For a child, few things make the heart pound faster than the anticipation of Christmas morning where new toys and games await them. Whether you are in need of some Christmas help or are just looking for a great deal on a gift, take a few moments to see our collection for the kids in your life.
LOW INCOME ASSISTANCE
This is the season for giving. On the flip side, this is the season where those in need often feel the worse. Keep your eyes open for those who are troubled and need assistance. If you are unable to help them directly, refer them to someone who might be able to assist them. Whether someone needs training, counceling, or direct help – there are agencies and organizations available to help in every community. We have collected a list of some agencies that can be reached online, which might be of help.
GIFT CARDS FOR GIVING AND GETTING
What a wonderful invention these gift cards are. So much easier for marketors to give away in their surveys or promotions than sending bulky merchandise. The advantage to you by receiving a free gift card is that you have more money to pay bills or buy gifts during the holiday. Everybody is a winner. The velocity of these free gift card offers has certainly increased in recent months, so take a peek at the new offers we have posted and come back frequently for new offers.
COLLEGE APPLICATIONS STARTS NOW
December is the time many high school seniors begin applying to colleges. Some of these students will receive scholarships to cover all or part of the tuition for college. This is a good time to also start looking at all options for funding their educations. I suggest that you read the article on college funding [ http://collegedegreefunds.com/funding-options/paying-for-college-summary-of-methods ]and also review our list of links on education, which include several on funding options and specific school offers.
HO HO HO – TIS THE SEASON
We are repeatuing this post from the last newsletter, because it is still the season and we continue to add to freebie post to this category. We have collected many free offer links to non-commercial things for this holiday. While you are spending time with the family, you might want to have some Christmas poems on hand, or print some Christmas coloring books for the kids, or sing Christmas songs and have the lyrics in front of you.
